www.mykrakenacademy.com is operated by Kraken Academy Inc., a Florida not-for-profit corporation at 200 Arlington Drive, Placida, FL 33946. Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Using the site
You may read this site, create an account, and send us messages. You may not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with the site’s operation or security, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, use it to send unlawful or abusive content, or misrepresent who you are.
Accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. If you add a child to your account, you are confirming that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian and that you are entitled to give us their details. Keep your account details accurate, and keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account.
We may suspend or remove an account that is being used in breach of these terms, or where doing so is necessary to protect a child.
Programs are not yet operating
This is the most important thing on the page. Kraken Academy plans to begin programs in 2027. Nothing on this site is an offer of a place, a guarantee that a program will run, or a commitment to a date, a fee, an age group, a location or a schedule. Every date published is planned, and every page carrying one says so.
Creating an account is not registering for a program. When registration opens it will have its own terms, its own forms and its own refund and cancellation policy, and you will be asked to agree to those separately.
Educational content, not professional advice
Material on this site about leadership, wellness, nutrition and youth development is educational and developmental. It is not medical, psychological, dietary or clinical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Talk to a qualified professional about your own child.
What belongs to whom
The Kraken Academy name, crest, logo, text, images, design and code on this site belong to Kraken Academy Inc. or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not reproduce the branding, republish substantial parts of the site, or present any of it as your own.
What you send us — a message, an application, a partnership enquiry — stays yours. By sending it you allow us to read it, store it, and act on it in order to reply and to run the Academy. Please do not send confidential material, and do not send anything you do not have the right to send. Sensitive participant health information should never be sent through this site.
Links to other sites
We link to Google Maps, to our social accounts, and from time to time to partners and other organisations. Those sites are not ours, we do not control them, and their content and privacy practices are their own responsibility rather than ours.
Disclaimers and liability
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and information about future programs may change as decisions are approved.
To the fullest extent the law permits, Kraken Academy Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the courts of Florida are intended to have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
We may update these terms as the Academy develops. The current version is always the one on this page, and the reviewed version will carry an effective date.
