Participant safety& safeguarding

The safety and well-being of children are central to Kraken Academy. As programs launch, employees, coaches, instructors, contractors and volunteers who work with children will be subject to role-appropriate screening, conduct standards, safeguarding procedures, and training requirements.

Program-specific safety, emergency, medical, concussion, transportation and reporting policies will be provided to participating families as applicable.

These policies are being written now, before any child takes part, rather than after the first season. That order is the point of launching in 2027 instead of sooner.
